Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 by the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of medieval sherds from this area, as well as noting a medieval pottery sherd concentration, along with bone and shell fragments and post medieval material. This was set on a mound which may be a roddonm that has been deliberately heightened.

Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds. WMV BG (S1).
Context 2 at 5844 1430: medieval pottery concentration, bone and shell, and post medieval material set on mound which may be a roddon but perhaps deliberately heightened. WMV 18 (S2).
