Former field immediately north of churchyard.

Medieval sword chape, spur, coins and pottery.
Roman coins.
Post medieval metalwork, coins and pottery.
Undatable casting jet.

The above finds include a Roman coin and a medieval coin found in April 1986 and initially reported to have been found in the churchyard of St Mary the Virgin's Church (NHER 10779). A corrected location subsequently provided by the finder suggests that these were actually found within this field, although it appears there was some doubt of the accuracy of this revised provenance.
