Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 recovered a general scatter of medieval pottery sherds, as well as noting a sparse concentration of medieval pottery, bone, and shell.

Context 1 = general scatter medieval sherds. TSJ BY (S1).
Context 2 at 5407 1639. Concentration sparse medieval pottery, ditto bone, shell sparse to moderate. No post medieval component. West edge drove. 2.4m OD. TSJ 29 (S2).
