Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 by the Fenland Survey recovered a small number of medieval pottery sherds scattered across this area, as well as noting a concentration of medieval pottery sherds, shell, very sparse bone and some post medieval material.

Context 1 = general scatter medieval sherds. TSC DU.
Context 2 at 5352 1917. Concentration medieval pottery sparse to moderate, moderate shell and very sparse bone. post medieval material also sparse. On side of track. 34m east to west x 26m north to south at 2.4m OD. TSC 44.
