Summary

Fieldwalking in 1986 and 1987 by the Fenland Survey recovered a small number of medieval pottery sherds scattered across this area, as well as a sparse spread of medieval pottery sherds and abundant cockle shell on the edge of the common. Metal-detecting in 2015 recovered medieval coins as well as a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy ring and a post-medieval/modern lead weight.
