Summary

Low Tree Farm is an L-shaped farmhouse, which may have formerly been a hall house of the 15th or 16th century. This building has a remarkable former open parlour in a crosswing, with unusual arched braces to queenposts and purlins. There is evidence for an original lobby entrance or firehood on the site of the present chimneystack, which was inserted with the floors in the 17th century.
