Summary

Fenland fieldwalking here in 1986 recovered a number of medieval sherds, shells, animal bones and post medieval detritus.

Context 1: general scatter medieval sherds. Site TYS CG.
Context 2: at location [2]. Concentration of generally sparse medieval sherds, sparse shell locally moderate, sparse to moderate post medieval rubbish. Shell and post medieval material continues eastwards beyond limit as plotted but no pottery observed in that area. On south side road with dyke now infilled. 81m minimum east-west x 30m north-south. Site TYS 53.
