Summary

A round flint dug up here in 1986 was initially believed to be a cannon ball. This object is however almost certainly a natural, unmodified flint; an example of what were in the past referred to as the "cannon shot" gravels.

This is almost certainly a natural flint from the 'cannon-shot' gravel deposit.
