Summary

Fieldwalking recovered prehistoric worked flints and fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery. A windmill is recorded as being 'lately situated' here in 1653.

In this area (southeast of parish, east of Raveningham to Nockham (Nogdam End) road) a wind mill 'lately situated' in 1653. On other side of road were fields called Millfield in Suddixe Went (1616) and Millacre in Highfield (1697).
