Summary
Fieldwalking recovered prehistoric worked flint flakes and fragments of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery. Pieces of post medieval and modern pantile were also recorded.

Full Description
April 1986. Hales Survey, Heckingham site 55.
Well weathered surface, young cereal.
One cortical flake with straight retouched edge.
Two flakes.
One Roman greyware.
One jar rim Roman or medieval.
Three medieval unglazed.
One late medieval/transitional.
Four post medieval to 19th century.
Much pantile not collected.
