Fieldwalking in this area during 1986 a Mesolithic flint tranchet axehead and two flakes and several Neolithic worked flints.

Found by [1] (probably finder's Site No. 202b).
Worked flints.
Although the nature of these flints was not recorded on (S1) a number of finds from this site were subsquently donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.32.72); these listed in the museum's records as:
2 Mesolithic flint flakes.
3 Neolithic worked flints.
A Mesolithic flint tranchet axehead also appears to have been recovered at this site. This object was examined by R. Jacobi and recorded in (S2) as a small tranchet adze with a tranchet blow on each side. The grid reference listed (TG 126 071) places it at the location.
