Summary

Three large lumps of iron working waste were recovered during subsoiling at this spot. They are large enough to indicate that iron working was going on at this site, but it is unclear at what date this took place.

June 1986. Found when subsoiling.
Three large lumps ironworking debris found as single block. Could not be fitted together at NCM but seemed to be at least as big or bigger than block from Aylsham. Piece of spongy iron also reported but not seen.
One lump kept at NCM rest.
