Summary

In 1986 a Neolithic polished stone axehead was found on the surface of spoil produced from a hole dug for an electricity supply pole. It was made from a coarse igneous rock and survived in good condition.

June 1986. Found by [1] on surface of spoil from a hole from an electricity supply pole.
Stone axe of coarse, igneous rock, complete and in good condition. 113mm long, 67mm at widest point. Ground all over with no flake concavities remaining.
