March 1983. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
Farmhouse. 17th century second half. Timber frame, wattle and daub, some brick. Pantiles. Through passage plan. 2 storeys. Original door to right, later door to left. 18th century casements. Central ridge stack and external north gable stack. Gables have 2 drip shelves and louvred roof ventilation panels. Heavy wallplate. Interior timber framing arch braced at corners and main frame divisions. Spine beams ground floor have tongue stops. Winding staircase by stack, with solid treads from first floor to attic. Some internal doors have H hinges. Tiebeam roof with queenpost struts to collars and one tier of clasped purlins.
