Summary

A brick house, dating from the 17th century with substantial later alterations, and a barn, originally timber framed, which was rebuilt in brick in 1681.

Farm house 17th century much modernised.
Red brick, 2 storeys and attic, lobby entrance. North facade 5 windows, all replaced. Two symmetrical ridge stacks; modern porch with stepped gable opposite eastern. Stepped gables on house, but east gable a modern remodelling. Platband on south side.

Barn: dated 1698 east gable, 1681 west gable. Red brick, thatched. Central double doors north side with ventilation loops to west. Stepped gables.

The barn was examined. It has tiebeams remaining from a timber framed barn; the east end is internally of flint and predates the 1681 reroofing and rebuilding in brick. The date of 1698 may not refer to building works.
