Summary

A 17th century timber framed house, with 18th and 20th century features. It is rendered, has some weatherboarding and is two storeys high with attics. It has possible 17th century fireplaces and a roof of possible 18th century date.

Listed Grade II 1986 as early 17th century (S1).
Timber frame, rendered, partly refaced and underbuilt in brick; rear elevation part weatherboarded. 2 storeys and attics, lobby entrance.
Windows all 20th century.
Tiled offset in south wall at first floor level. Single storey gabled wing to north with 20th century stack.
Interior retains pair of service doors from hall, one blocked, beams with ogee and stepped stops. Moulded brick fireplaces with four centred arches. Winding stair removed from lobby but original in place from upper floor to attic. Butt-purlin roof, east end perhaps 18th century rebuild.
