Summary

Prehistoric flint flakes and part of a possible arrowhead, a Neolithic flint core, and fragments of Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery found in 1986.

Map

Spring 1986 and 6 June 1986. A11 new course.
Natural flint used as crude core probably Neolithic; 1 Flake with bifacial retouch, possibly part of arrowhead.
6 flint flakes and one extra.
1 shattered core fragment; 5 sherds and 25 scraps flint gritted pottery probably Iron Age.
2 medieval sherds; 2 sherds ?Roman.
All found by A. Gregory (NAU).
1 flake found 6 June by A. Rogerson (NAU)
