Summary

A Mesolithic flint flake core, two possibly Neolithic flint flakes, and two burnt flint 'pot boilers' were found in a trench for a water main in 1986.

Examination of pipe trench for Costessey Heigham Water Transfer Main. Found in trench at this location:
2 ?prehistoric 'pot boilers'.
1 Mesolithic small single platform flint blade core (perhaps a stray from site NHER 9527).
2 ?Neolithic flint flakes.
Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1998.320.2).
