1981. Survey.
Timber framed house, later divided into cottages, now restored. Two storeys and part attic. All studs full height - roof framed independantly and tiebeams not related to posts. Apparently always two storeyed despite common joists being carried on rails pegged to studs. Hall and parlour and only one service door. Ovolo moulded beams. Lobby entrance, and stairs by chimneystack. One large chamber over hall and service room. North section roof original, south 18th century. Original section has purlin between arched collars; central bay was windbraced. Side wall braces in four corners, and end wall braces. Mid 17th century.
