Summary

During metal detecting in 1986 four pottery sherds, all joining to make large body sherd of medieval glazed Grimston Ware, were recovered from this area.

August 1986. East bend in river Ingol. Found with metal detector on newly ploughed meadow.
Four sherds all joining to make large body sherd of glazed Grimston ware with vertical brown slip trails. New breaks show sherd recently larger. In NCM.
