Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in October 1986 of the southeast field of Pentney Island recovered odd sherds of medieval pottery and flints, while a systematic metal-detecting survey in 2016 recovered no recordable finds, other than undatable lead sheet fragments. Aerial photography in July 1996 detected linear features (field boundaries?). In 2001 the south-western portion of the site was scheduled as part of the priory (NHER 3924).
