Summary

Fieldwalking has recovered concentrations of medieval pottery from this site, which was part of the hamlet of Little Seche that developed from the 12th century onwards.

Context 1 general scatter odd medieval sherds. KLY AY.
Context 2 at 6195 1384. Sparse concentration of medieval pottery across road to south of NHER 22511/Context 2 - part of the same? Beside road, perhaps truncated by construction of barn. Area about 38 north to south by less
than 22m east to west. Few cockle shells, occasional bone fragments. Very little modern material. KLY 21. 2.4m OD.
