Fenland fieldwalking in 1986/87 uncovered odd prehistoric pot boilers and flints as well as a single post medieval gunflint.

30 October 1986. Fenland fieldwalking, young cereal, well weathered soil.
Context 1: odd flints and pot boilers scattered across field on island of chalk loam and sandy loam. No obvious concentrations. Site reference NWD AC on (S1).

11 April 1987. General scatter over east part field, not walked before.
Context 2: odd flints including one gunflint (F. Healy (NAU)). Reference NWD AQ in (S1).
Context 3: located at [2]. A sparse concentration of prehistoric pot boilers and a couple of flints from the edge of a very low chalk ridge 28m (southeast-northwest) x 16m (northeast-southwest) at 3.1m OD. Reference NWD 33 in (S1). NCM as above.
