Summary

A 17th century farmhouse, re-fronted in about 1700, with later additions. It is two storeys high with a black pantiled roof. Flanking the off centre doorway are rusticated quoins and pilasters. Inside, there is a winding stair in the lobby, large fireplaces in the hall and parlour, and 17th century beams.

Listing Description:
Farmhouse 17th century refronted circa 1700. Two storeys, red brick and black pantiled. Rusticated quoins, and pilasters flanking entrance door. Off-centre doorway with wooden doorcase, pilasters and 6-panel door, part glazed. Sash windows with flat brick arches. Timber modillion cornice, parapet eaves, off-set axial stack, and former gable stack to right, built before 18th century extension. 19th century lean-to at rear, pebbledashed, and with sash windows. Large fireplace openings to hall and parlour with bressummers. 17th century timber joists and beams. Lobby entry and winding stair. Double framed roof. Brick wall at the front with saddle back coping and timber and wrought iron gate.
