Summary

Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the late prehistoric to the post medieval periods, as well as fragment of lava querns, found during field walking. Metal detecting from 2006 to 2009 recovered a Bronze Age axehead, two medieval objects, a horse harness banner and an unidentified silver object.

The medieval silver object was submitted as potential Treasure and is listed in (S2) as a silver-gilt spoon handle fragment.
