Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in November 1986 to the southeast of Ashwood lodge discovered a sparse concentration of prehistoric pot boilers.

21 November 1986. Fenland fieldwalking at PEN 6 on (S1). Location at edge of natural gulley through mineral soil, which was filled with peat at some time in past. Young cereal crop growing on well weathered soil.
A sparse concentration of pot boilers 32m x 21m in size (oriented southeast to northwest) was discovered.
