November 1986. Fenland fieldwalking. [1]
Winter cereal, well weathered soil. MTW BX.
Odd fragments flint and sherds of ?medieval pottery.

Route of Wellington Plantation to Stoke Ferry Pipeline. Context 2 centred at [2].
Concentration of Middle Saxon pottery, facetted head pin, bronze object, lead fragments, coin of Coenwulf, Roman and post medieval sherds.

April-August 1992. Excavation.
Route of Wellington Plantation to Stoke Ferry Pipeline.
Excavation undertaken before pipeline constructed revealed Middle Saxon ditches and burials and small finds. Other finds recovered included Beaker, Bronze Age and Iron Age sherds.
