Summary

A heavy copper alloy medieval ring with an empty socket for a stone was found in 1986. The ring may have been for a man.

September 1986. Picked up by plough at depth of about 60cm (2 feet). Northeast of [1].
Heavy bronze finger ring ?for man. 60g (2oz), weighed by finder.
Oblong empty stone socket- engraving round it remains on one side, other worn smooth ?through being dragged by plough.
