Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a concentration of prehistoric burnt flints on a very slight south facing slope.

Full Description
3 December 1986. Fenland fieldwalking. North of Sternhouse Farm, west of Cut Off Channel.
Weathered soil.
Concentration of pot boilers sparse to moderate but no flints. On a very slight south facing slope. 45m north to south x 31m east to west at 2.1m OD. FWL 167.
