Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in the winter of 1986 recorded a scatter of prehistoric pot boilers as well as a few sherds of medieval pottery.

21 November and 4 December 1986. Fenland fieldwalking on well weathered soil with young cereal crops growing. Location referred to as PEN AD on (S1).
Context 1: general scatter with a couple of sherds of medieval pottery. Context 2: at [1] a scatter of pot boilers was discovered. The pot boilers cover an area of approximately 40m (east-west) x 30m (north-south).
