Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric worked flints and fragments of prehistoric and medieval pottery. A concentration of Iron Age pottery fragments and prehistoric worked and burnt flints was also recorded.

3 December 1986. Fenland fieldwalking. In angle of Kettle Drove and Haythill Drove.
In good conditions.

Context 1.
General scatter prehistoric sherds and flint FWL EF.

Context 2 NE corner 6982 9135 continuation of NHER 21084/Context 4 (FWL 71) into this field.
110m east to west x 90m north to south Iron Age pottery and odd pot boilers and flint.

Context 1 also contains medieval sherds.
