Summary

The possible site of a World War Two Starfish decoy. These were designed to fool enemy bombers into thinking they were bombed towns, with a variety of effects to represent both small fires and major conflagrations. This one was to protect King's Lynn.

This would appear to also be the site of the bombing range mentioned in (S1), containing at least one aircraft crash site. Decoys are known to have doubled as bombing ranges. This range is recorded as having wicker targets.
