Full Description
November 1986. Found in fieldwalking.
Context 1: general scatter post medieval and medieval finds.
Context 2: flints. Worked flint.
Three medieval sherds. Bronze sheet, unknown use, looks early. Henry III cut halfpenny London mint. Lead weight possibly from a clock, post medieval? (but in shape like Roman weights from Wicklewood).
Three post medieval bronze buckles one very large. Eighty two lead musket balls, fifteen showing crimping marks and most of rest show seams and/or cut off marks. One gunflint.
Member of the public [1] retains post medieval finds.
