Summary

This is the location of Belding's Mill, which was sold in 1844. This mill stood on a field called Mayes and this information has provided the grid reference for the mill. However, a study of this location shows no traces of a windmill. For related information see NHER 5787.

Site of wind mill?
Belding's Mill, sold in 1844. Mr H. Apling states in letter to member of the public [1] that it stood on a field called Mayes, near another known as Eleven Acres. Enclosure Award of 1860 in Norfolk Records Office shows Mayes at above grid reference with Eleven Acres at TF 861 358.
No indication of mill.
