6 November 1986. Staff field work. Two small ploughed strips on open breck examined. Said not to have been ploughed since the war.
Recently done by Norfolk Naturalists' Trust to encourage particular flora. Chalky till or gravel exposed in places under very thin sand cover.
Context 1 west of site of Roudham Junction, one small flake. Context 2 further west, five flakes, three of which are patinated. Found and identified by J. Wymer (NCM) 15 December 1986.
