Found during work on land somewhere in field centred on this grid reference.
Copper alloy terret of Westhall type with low relief fleshy lobe ornament against field of (presumably) red enamel. Recessed circles in centre of lobes are pierced by central holes, with in one case red enamel on edge of the hole, (S1).
By analogy with the Ashill terret (site NHER 16140) these circles probably contained blue glass held in place by a red enamel adhesive.
