Full Description
13 February 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, barley, too high for good fieldwork.
Context 1: general scatter, odd flints and one medieval sherd. Site SHD AR.
Context 2 (at 6947 1029): moderate concentration pot boilers but no obvious flint, bone or pottery. On sandy mineral soil with peat staining. 23m north-south x 21m east-west at 4.1m OD. Site SHD 10.
Context 3 (at 6921 1042): broad scatter pot boilers continuing NHER 23284/Context 2 part of SHD AR.
Flints are Neolithic to Bronze Age in date - F. Healy (NAU).
Finds held by NCM.
