Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in February 1987 recovered a collection of prehistoric pot boilers and flints as well as animal remains and numerous burnt pebbles.

9 February 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, weathered soil.

Concentration of moderate pot boilers and a couple of flints including scraper and piece of bone. Pot boilers include many burnt pebbles. Sandy loam with gravel. On edge of ridge spreading across peat. Area 23m (northeast-southwest) x 19m (northwest-southeast) at 1m OD. Reference NWD 21 on (S1).
