Summary

Fieldwalking from 1986 recovered a Neolithic flint scraper,retouched flakes and other prehistoric worked flint. Also found were a Bronze Age stone axe hammer and a post medieval decorated thimble.

4 November 1986. Found in fieldwalking.
Flint flake with retouch.
Identified by J. Wymer (NAU). W. Milligan (NCM) 16 December 1986.

January 1987. Bronze decorated post medieval stud.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM). W. Milligan (NCM) June 1987.

September 1987. Flint flake, with small notch that might be recent damage.
Identified by J. Wymer (NAU) 27 October 1987.

26 March 1988.
Flint end scraper on thick blade, waisted. Identified by J. J. Wymer (NAU));
Post medieval decorated thimble (compare Costessey 16398).

Found while lifting potatoes, somewhere in general area of previous finds:
1 Early Bronze Age stone axe hammer. See sketch (S1).
