Bronze hingeplate, burnt. Late Saxon? but could be much later.

1992. Metal detector find.
Medieval bronze key, with openwork cross and four open circles in spandrel in lozenge-shaped bow. Hollow stem, and moulded terminal above bow. Moulded collar at top of stem. Probably 14th century.
