Summary

Church House has a 17th century part to the west, refronted in the late 18th century. Two early 19th century wings are situated to the east, and a 19th century shop front to the northeast. This two storey building is of brick and coursed flint with a roof of black pantiles with later windows. The interior of the west range has an open string mahogany staircase, the first floor fireplace has rendered arch and rollmoulded jambs with jewel stops, and the ground floor has a 18th century ducksnest grate.

English Heritage Listing:
17th-19th century. Brick and coursed flint, black pantiles. 17th century three bay range to west refronted late 18th century. Two early 19th century wings infilled to east, shop at northeast. West front two storeys and attic, brick on rendered plinth, gable stacks. Two ground floor and two upper floor large sixteen pane sash windows with exposed boxes. Central door with dummy fanlight and fluted pilaters. Central false window with glazing bars in relief on upper floor. Left hand gable has coursed flint on plinth; decorative brick lozenges; two first floor ovolo mullioned windows; two blocked attic windows. One bay two storey wing to right, of coursed flint with later windows. 19th century shop front. Interior of west range has open string mahogany staircase; first floor fireplace with rendered arch and rollmoulded jambs with jewel stops; ground floor has 18th century ducksnest grate.
