Context 1 general scatter, odd medieval sherds across field and lot of post medieval rubbish in terms of slag etc. TSC FB.
Context 2 at 5551 2124 concentration of sparse medieval pot and abundant shell behind and running up to remnant of sea bank. 37m min east to west x 25m north to south at 3.1m OD TSC 51 (area west of this site not walked as under daffodils).
Context 3 at 5551 2112 concentration ?Late Saxon and medieval pottery (sparse to moderate) and shell (sparse) and bone (sparse to moderate). Seems to be on slight mound though whether this is a roddon (extinct watercourse) is uncertain. Mound is no more than 0.3-0.4m high at 2.8 to 3.1m OD TSC 52.
