Summary
Fieldwalking in 1987 by the Fenland Survey recovered a couple of medieval pottery sherds, as well as a large amount of modern rubbish scattered across this whole field, which is known to have been an orchard.

Full Description
17 March 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, well weathered ploughsoil. Combined field across parish boundary.
Couple of medieval sherds, but much modern rubbish scattered across whole area as ex-orchard. WMV BZ (S1).
