A late 15th century building with later alterations, currently a shop and flat. It is a three storey, timber-framed building with a colourwashed brick façade to the west and later flint and brick facing to the rear. The 20th century shop front extends the entire width of façade, with prominent fascia board. A 2-storey cross wing of rendered brick, clunch and flint runs east from the south end under a pantiled roof. The interior of the rear cross wing features a 2-bay late 15th century crown-post roof, although the centre post is missing. The posts are rectangular and plain, with arched braces from the posts to the crown purlins. The ground floor of this wing retains chamfered cruciform bridging beams with tongue stops while the ground floor of the main front block features cruciform bridging beams elaborately carved with 3 roll-mouldings separated by stylised twig and ribbon mouldings.
