Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in April 1987 recovered prehistoric pot boilers and flints (including scrapers) dating to the prehistoric period and Early Bronze Age.

7 April 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, rolled and weathered ploughsoil.

Context 1: general scatter odd pot boilers and flint scattered across field and including on one sandy loam ridge a small group of scrapers and few other flints at 7163 9703. Reference NWD AN on (S1).
These flints are Beaker period - F. Healy (NAU).

Context 2: at 7167 9713 moderate spread pot boilers but no flint on upland edge. Sandy loam. Area 22m (northwest-southeast) x 16m (northeast-southwest) at 1.6m OD. Reference NWD 32 on (S1).
