Full Description
23 April 1987. Fenland fieldwalking.
Reasonably good conditions, spring barley, one section of field rolled.
Context 1. MTW EC.
Odd flints in general scatter in mineral soil across field but not many.
Context 2 at 7206 9539. MTW 131.
Concentration of pot boilers sparse to moderate, one flint (counted as context 1) on side of ridge of chalky loam. 23m northeast to southwest x 16m northwest to southeast at 1.3m OD.
