Map

April 1987. Surface find on arable, between two waterfilled pits.
Sherd, thick coarseware, buff coloured, very sandy. Thick rolled rim with very definite groove under it.
Sketch (S1) in file, from which A. Rogerson (NAU) says 'does not look very Roman', but A. Gregory (NAU) says no reason why it should not be.
