Map

1985. Building Survey.
Survey of White House Farm and White House Farm Barn by Brooke Society.
Timber framed house, later clad, with two huge arched braces supporting a tiebeam on upper floor.
Plan shows a lobby entrance house with winding staircase continuing up to attic level west of stack only, a good 16th/early 17th century plan, with braces which may suggest this is 16th century in this case; but no other dateable features recorded.
Adjacent barn is brick, about 1800.
See reports (S1) and (S2) for further details.
