Full Description
1987 and several years before. Stray Find.
Surface finds:
'Grimston and 12th century wares' (not seen NAU).
E. Rose (NAU) 15 July 1987.
In 1988 the NCM identified a number of Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds that had been recovered by this finder in Alderford. The provenance of these finds was not recorded and it is therefore possible that these were the sherds noted above (or at least material recovered in the same area). See NHER 61183 for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 5 November 2015.
