1987. Found in fieldwalking
Roman sherds: fifty-one greyware plus two bases and nine rims 2nd-3rd, century forms, colourcoated ware, Nene Valley ?, 3rd century ?sherd, Mayen ware jar rim 4th century; Small glass fragment Roman ? (identified by A. Gregory (NAU)); post medieval sherds: lead glazed earthenware and Staffordshire combware; medieval green glazed Grimston; Neolithic flint flake fragment and cortical flake with slight retouch (identified by J. Wymer (NAU)).

D. Gurney (NLA) identified: Red colour coated ware. Bowl with bead rim and high curved flange; loosely based on Samian form 38. Probably Oxford, although Hadham also possible. More likely to the 4th century than earlier.
